Refurb Can Be As Good As the New Product
I have been a fan of refurbished items most of my life. I once got a very detailed tour of what reputable companies do to make something refurbished. The testing they undergo is as strict or stricter than OEM specs. With regard to refurbished mac laptops I would be very willing to buy one for a discounted price. In general Apple products tend to last a very long time with very few problems. One that has been sent back to Apple and certified as refurbished will have the same certification and testing as a new product. Some even come with warranties. Depending on the reseller I would almost surely purchase a refurbished Apple product. Especially if a warranty was offered with the product. That would make the purchase a no brainer. I would not be so sure with a Microsoft product unless I had assurances of who did the refurb work.
